About Us

Sunny Hill Farm has been in operation since 1979. Grandparents, parents, and children have been coming to Sunny Hill for pick-your-own strawberries and tomatoes for more than 30 years. You've also told us our "Sweet Corn is the best!" Throughout the years we have really appreciated being apart of your family traditions.

In an age where GMO’s (Genetically Modified Foods) and where large amounts of chemicals and pesticides are used to grow and ripen our everyday food, people tend to question how their food is grown and who is growing it. At Sunny Hill Farm we understand these concerns, and as a family owned business, we’ve adopted Biological farming practices that promote healthier soils, tastier produce, and a safer environment.

A Biological Farmer’s first and main concern is the soil. By rotating crops and plowing down Green Manure crops such as Rye, Oats, and Clovers, these plant residues are broken down in the soil providing nutrition and energy not only for the vegetable and fruit crops, but for millions of microscopic beneficial organisms significantly increasing the Biological activity of the soil and earthworm production. Biological active soils promote healthier more nutritious plants, and at the same time discourage the effects of harmful organisms. This in turn, leads to less pesticide use. Healthy soils are the keystone to healthier plants that benefits and promotes the health of the consumer.

We want to be YOUR farmer.
